loved my stay at elephant! the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable, sharing interesting history of the hotel and area. they even helped us with directions and transportation. the bed was comfy, breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant focused on local produce. the hotel's unique charm and vestiges of history made it even more special.
Parking was pricey.

Such tourist sites as Forum Brixen were not far from the venue. A kitchen was ok for us.

We have stayed at this inn before and would be happy to recommend it to family and friends. For dinner we chose Pizzeria Pavillon, that was 700 feet from the hotel. The furniture is antique.

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was spacious and had a nice sitting corner. The location was perfect, just outside the pedestrian area. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and went above and beyond for us when we had a problem with our rental car.
Menu for breakfast could have been more varied.

This is a pleasant, comfortable hotel with a pretty garden, lots of atmosphere and a good restaurant. The price was however a bit high and the breakfast was so-so (Italian style rather than Austrian style, though the town is more Austrian than Italian).

Exceptionally friendly bi lingual staff. Beautiful Gardens. Situated in a lovely town.
I really think that air conditioning is necessary even at this altitude. My stay during July was slightly marred by the uncomfortable temperature in our Junior suite and very humid temperature in the restaurant during our a la carte meal.

Beautiful, historic hotel in picturesque Tyrolian town. The place as a rich past, and the staff is charming and helpful.Guests feel transported to another more gracious Europe. The garden across the way is full with art, trees and relaxation. The restaurant serves haute cuisine.
Only one small criticism: The beds are too hard! This, however, should not deter the traveller seeking a truly unique, charming and gentile time.

The hotel is located in the Northern Italian mountains, offering breathtaking views. The rooms were cozy with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight, along with the 50-meter outdoor swimming pool and spa with five different saunas. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel's restaurant was closed during our stay, limiting dining options. , the room size was smallish, providing little space to move around.

A charming hotel with a rich history, situated just outside the old city walls. The Annex, a former villa, offers additional rooms and a lovely pool with a solarium area. The hotel grounds are well-maintained, and the staff, who have been part of the same family for decades, are friendly and polite. The traditional decor and cozy atmosphere create a unique experience. The restaurant is popular and offers delicious meals, particularly on the pleasant terrace during summer. The hotel also has a free tennis court for guests to enjoy. I highly recommend this hotel for its tradition, history, and welcoming ambiance.

The hotel had a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep and a beautiful breakfast to start the day. The location was also great, with easy access to key attractions and activities in the area. Another advantage was the emphasis on using local produce in the restaurant, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
The rooms were very dull and lacked creativity in their design. It was a disappointment considering the hotel's overall charm and uniqueness.
